Over 95 per cent of all new vehicles will be fitted with an engine start/stop function, in order to achieve the CO2 limitation targets set by the EU by means of sustained fuel consumption savings and emission reductions. In general, two differing starter battery types are employed in these environment-friendly vehicles, consisting of the absorbent glass mat (AGM) and the enhanced flooded battery (EFB) systems. The use of the appropriate technology depends largely on the fuel and CO2 savings that can be attained.

By and large, AGM technology is employed for start/stop systems with maximum energy requirements and braking energy recuperation.

Within this context, in particular the Running Bull AGM constitutes the optimum solution for mid-range to premium and luxury class vehicles.

Delivery

Batteries will be sent out on the same day as cleared funds for next day delivery via our courier.

Batteries can also be collected in person if you require the same day.

Returns

We offer a 30 day returns policy. Customers must pay for the return postage. Once Received we will test the battery and check it is in a re sale condition before issuing a full refund

Faulty Batteries

Although faults with batteries are very rare, we do occasionally get items that are faulty after purchase. We aim to handle all faulty items returned to us as quickly as possible to avoid inconvenience to you. We strongly suggest checking that your battery is where the fault lies as in many cases it could be a faulty alternator or boot/glovebox light sticking on that is causing the indicated problems with the battery. As many as 50% of batteries returned to us for test are simply flat and need recharging!

After a faulty battery is confirmed we will pay to ship a replacement back to to you, but where no fault is found, unlike some companies we don't charge a test fee but we do have to charge carriage back to you at cost. Any non-faulty items not collected within 3 months will be diposed of.
Under the Waste Battery Regulations, Eighty Seventy Facilities Management Ltd / Batteries 2 Me are now offering a take back scheme for all portable waste batteries. You can return your batteries to our business premises in person; please do not post them.

Most supermarkets and shops that sell batteries will have collection bins for used batteries, and some town halls, libraries or schools may also set up collection points. End users may find stores in their local area more accessible.
